Robot Sokoban
A downloadable game for Windows
You drive a maintenance robot on a space station. Every level is solved the moment all of its energy crates sit on goal sockets.
The twist is that a crate resting on a socket also powers it, and a powered socket opens the gates wired to it. So a crate is often a key before it is a goal, and the order you move things in matters more than the distance.
The pieces
- Energy crate — push it onto a goal socket to make progress. Parked on any socket it supplies power.
- Cargo crate — carries no power. It only blocks, which is sometimes exactly what you need.
- Powered socket — while a crate rests on it, every gate wired to it stands open. Step away and the gate closes.
- Gate — opens on Any or All of its wired sockets, shown by the coloured lines running across the floor.
- Low-friction track — a crate pushed onto it keeps sliding one more cell in the direction it entered.
- Redirector plate — a crate pushed onto it slides one cell along the arrow, whichever way you pushed it.
Controls
Move and push — arrow keys move in world directions, WASD moves relative to the camera
